Info
Here are some tips for making great looking stacks, every time!
* One layer (1/2") in the Stackable Gourmet is equal to approximately 1/2 - 1/3 cup of food.
* Get creative - each layer does not have to be the same height!
* Have fun by garnishing with unique items, like a sparkler on a 4th of July stack, or edible flowers on a salad stack.
* Don't just toss your leftovers on to a plate - put them in your Stackable Gourmet to make them look freshly made!
* Kids love the Stackable Gourmet! If your kids help make their own healthy stacks, they'll be more likely to eat healthy foods.
* If your presser is sticking to certain types of food (like hummus) simply wet it with hot water before pressing down that layer.
* To keep your stacks standing...
- Try to keep heavier foods on the bottom layers and lighter foods on the top layers.
- Keep items like peas as top layers or very thin layers.
- Make sure to press food deep into the corners of the stack when making each layer. Thinner corners can make your stacks crumble.
- When removing the Stackable Gourmet from your finished stack, hold the presser on the top layer very gently, but don't press too hard.
The Stackable Gourmet is so fun! Use it for elegant dinner parties and holiday dinners, have "Stackable Gourmet" parties with your friends, and have fun with your kids!
